Meet the dedicated team of dental professionals at our practice, who work their hardest to ensure each and every patient receives the best possible care. From our experienced dentists to our friendly reception staff, everyone shares the same goal of helping you achieve a healthy smile that you can be proud of!
Dr. Borys Averbukh
Dr. Borys Averbukh was born in the Republic of Moldova and grew up in the south of Ukraine, in the city of Mykolayiv, close to the Black Sea. He received his Doctorate in Stomatology from Odesa State Medical University in 2008. After completing a two-year general practice residency in Odesa, Ukraine, he enrolled in the Advanced Standing Program in Dentistry at Boston University, subsequently receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2014.
Dr. Averbukh is happy to provide patient-centered care with an emphasis on evidence-based dentistry, new technology and the most innovative procedures. He’s a current member of the GIDE (global institute of dental educaton) and ITI (international team for implantology); and travels nationally and internationally to keep abreast of the modern dentistry and dental technology.
Kelly
Kelly has been with our practice since 1991 and became our full-time hygienist in 1992. She graduated in 1991 from the Dental Hygiene program at Tunxis Community College with an Associates degree in Science. She maintains continuing education classes yearly to expand her dental hygiene knowledge and stays current with the newest information.
Patients appreciate knowing that Kelly has been and will be tending to their periodontal and routine dental prophylaxis year after year.
Kelly resides in North Windham with her husband and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, gardening and reading.
Melonie
Upon graduating from the Windham Technical School in the Dental Assistant Program in June 2006 Melonie joined our team.
Melonie is certified in infection control, radiology and safety and is OSHA-certified. She acquired her certification in Nutritional Health Coaching in 2016.
Melonie is the first person to greet you upon arrival in our office. She takes care of scheduling, insurance coordination and will troubleshoot any problems that may arise. If you need further treatment Melonie will go over all of your financials including insurance benefits and payment plans.
Melonie enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and Family. She also enjoys hiking, going to the beach and cooking healthy meals.
Michelle
Michelle is a newer addition to our office. She entered the field in early 2020 as an assistant from Porter and Chester Institute. She is currently enrolled at Goodwin University to earn her dental hygiene license. Since beginning her career in the dental field, she has obtained certifications in infection control, radiology and CPR.
Michelle and her fiancée currently live in Marlborough with their two dogs, Frank and Mark. When she isn’t at the office she enjoys gardening, playing with her dogs and continuing her education.
Jamie
Jaime has been an integral part of our office since 2008. She joined our office as our permanent part time hygienist in June of 2020. Jaime started her career as a dental assistant and quickly moved to dental hygiene after graduating from Tunxis Community College in 2012. Holding certifications in both local anesthesia and CPR. She strives to focus on giving all her patients the best of care possible by staying up to date with the most current information through continuing education courses. She enjoys educating her patients and treating every patient as an individual.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two young boys and daughter. Jaime and her family enjoy being active and being outside year round doing activities such as tending to their garden of vegetables and flowers and swimming in the ocean every chance they get. Jaime believes in not only having a healthy mouth but having a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and exercise.
Marlena
Marlena graduated from Windham Technical School in the Dental Assisting program in June 1999. She is certified in Infection Control, radiology-safety, OSHA and CPR.
Marlena currently lives in Hebron with her husband and two children and their Golden Doodle Bailey. When she is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and going on long walks with Bailey.
